Dun worry bout it. I dun think they are involved with each other that way. A lot of anime will try to show the bonds that develop between soldiers. Trust, respect, admiration, graditude.... Think about it like this, if you spent a year or so dug into a foxhole (pardon the pun) with someone and you guys depended on each other to stay alive... I think what Lady said is the real deal. I mean, my grandfather fought in WW2...he was only 15, he lied about his age and the army didn't give a shit...sorry, anyway, when he was in the trenches he saw things that he says he will never forget or be okay with, but he said the only thing that kept him sane was his best friend, they hugged, slept together to conserve body heat and comfort each other, but my grandfather is not gay. That's just the way it happens sometimes, his friend ended up dying like a week before the war was over. My granfather still can't tell the story without crying his eyes out. :(

From what I understand when Kurama (human) was younger he had a crush on a female school mate. I also believe that Youkai Kurama actually had no preference between male and female. There is a youkai that they fight in the last turnament that is suppose to be an old boyfriend of Kurama's. Now I understand this could just be a fan desire but I have not seen the intire series. The name of the youkai is Yomi.


Personally I don't think human Kurama (I say that because I can not spell his human name right now.) has a sexual desire one way or the other. It might be cause of his other nature that he choses not to have a romantic relationship. Just my personal opinion on this subject.
