I personally think its a lot better than the anime. The anime just has too much of the story from the manga cut out, and everythings dragged out to long.

Yeah the manga is more violent, more intense, and also more funny/crude. Theres also a quite a few cool scenes they left out of the anime.

The battles are more intense, Kuwabara is a bit more articulate; Yusuke is a LOT more crude; the enemies are meaner, and the story is a lot better because of all the editing and ommision the anime did. THE MANGA pwned ANIME!!!

i like the the manga its good that they have more stuff in the book then in the tv show

down here in canada we dont get yu yu hakusho on tv so i read the manga instead however i have boughten dvds so i have seen some anime. the manga is way better but they dont have some things the anime does. The manga didn't have rugby attacking yusuke and the baldok in the manga looks stupid

I think I may like the manga better too, like teh showdown at the hellhousing thing. Kurama adressing himself as tuxedo mask still makes me laugh - and as for gore. Gosh I think I'm scarred by Yomi and his blinder, ew... ribcage... visible *shiver*
