Well I can say right now this is the best one so far. Where does one start.
I think first I'll clear up a few misconceptions. The game is a created-skater only, you can't use the pros in this one. And as obvious as it is now, you can create a skater.
THUG is the first TH game to have an actual story line filled with plot twists, cut scenes and an Interational adventure, or would that be 'international incident'. ^_~
The graphics in this game are unbeliveable. More than once have I run off the course thinking it kept going. There are no invisible walls, or at least none that I have found. The blood looks a little fake but in a good way.
The soundtrack I personally found a drag. There was too much rap for my taste, not enough Metal but at least there is a decent amout.
The create-a-skater is the best yet. And all because of one thing "The Russian hat". (Woooo!!! Yeah !!! ^_^ ) It also has a very sweet feathure if you have a browser configured to your PS2. You can put your face on your skater. That's right, you can put yourself into the game.
I found some of the goals a little hard. mostly the combo ones. Yeah I know, I suck. ^_^;; But some are really neat, like the one where you have to sneak by the Russian Guards. Can you say Double-Oh Sk8er ? I thought so. (It's a Bond joke for you slower readers. ^_~ )
All in all this game is a must buy, even if you don't like Skateboarding. I give it ***** 5 out of 5 stars.
On a side note the most dissapointing thing (if the only one) about the game, is that the part I looked forward to the most, "driving the Soviet tank", turned out to only be a cut scene, you couldn't drive it. :(
