This was truly one of the worst films I've ever seen. Horribly overdramatic plot, laughably bad dialogue (especially the romantic stuff), and annoying reliance on racial sterotypes: Oh look, the old, independent black grandma talks with a heavy southern drawl and carries a pistol which she fires off whenever she wants.... we know. Oh look, the dependent young black woman learns to be independent, WE KNOW! There's more of these to be found, but I'm not going to bother explaining them. All I'm going to see is that none of them are remotely funny (or interesting.) And when you the director tries to use one of them (the grandma) as essentially the main source of "comic relief" in this waste of time, I soon want to kill myself.

Plot: 2/10
Black woman who doesn't know how to do anything except cook and clean married to rich black man for 18 years. Rich black man gets bored, cheats on her, and has two children with woman he's cheating with. Rich black man kicks black woman out of house. Black woman throws hissy fit, and throws the driver out of the moving fan that contains all her worldly posessions. She drives to old southern black grandma's house. Black grandma say's stuff that the audience is supposed to find funny. They don't. Black grandma and black woman dick around for a little while. Black woman ends up by chance meeting the driver of the moving truck at a barbeque. They dislike each other at first, then fall in love, and then a stupid subplot involving Rich black husband getting shot by a disgruntled client who he failed to defend sufficiently in court get's thrown in. I'm not even going to bother describing the rest, for there really isn't any point. All I'm going to say is that the rest filled with supposedly christian "morals", many of which aren't very moral at all. Add to this a terribly cliched ridiculous scene at the end where everyone sings in a church, and you have this trainwreck of a film.

Cinematography: 4/10
Mediocre. Absolutely nothing special about it at all.

Sound: 5/10
Mostly just R&B tunes here.

Special Effects: N/A
The film didn't really use them.

Overall: 3/10
Bad, bad, bad. Not worth anyone's time.
