Me and my brothers normally do not play many racing games unless it's something like The Need for Speed Hot Pursuit series, or Destruction Derby games and of course Burnout. This game is a very big improvement on the first burnout game. We haven't played the second burnout game so we can't compare them. But I doubt it was as good as this.

Gamplay: The basic idea of this game is, RISK and make the biggest crash you can. Normally a racing game doesn't get me to play single player as much as this has. Spending all night to get the next level or just restart to get a gold medal for a crash or race, was nothing for me when playing this game.

The ability to control your crash is a great idea. If you get good at it you can direct your car to hit any pick-up item as long as your car will fly that far, speaking of that, if you hit the crashbreaker icon, THEN hit your on crashbreaker that you get after having so many number of cars crash (as a result of your crash) then hitting the tank of chemicals on a big truck, your car will fly nealry off the screen.

Try guessing where your car is after the crash, when everything is tallied up for your score. (Each car you crash has a different score.) That's a fun thing to pass the time away, just look for the only car that will be on fire. (Which is odd considering the havoc that was just unleashed.)

Controls: There is a little bit of a problem here, in the menu options (mainly when you want to continue or retry a crash/race) you have to press the X button pretty hard to get it to acknowledge the buttons. Turning is smooth, with the best turning on a racing game I've played.

The crash control is kind of annoying, it seems as if it's not responding to you sometimes, and it's very slow (kinda like bullet time on Max payne but it seems slower then Max payne cause the car kind of goes it's own way sometimes.)

Sounds: The sounds on this are great, seems a little low though> You think the crashes would be pretty loud but even the music is a little low.

The music on this is not much to me and my brothers. That is, there's quite a few artists on here that do provide good racing music. But if your thinking the game will have loud hard rock music, considering it's based around giant crashes, think again. Its mainly alternative and rock/popish music, some of that is OK, but not what you might think for a game like this.

Graphics: The graphics on this are great, the blur of the road and buildings are great. Sometimes it doesn't seem your going that fast, but once you get a faster car it picks up. The graphics sometimes seems to be lacking, but it's one of the better looking race games I've seen, not very clipy, it's very smooth, even the cars that are nothing but a piece of trash.

Extras: Not much, there's a series of videos for different cars, but the videos didn't keep my attention. You can unlock them by racing more and more to but I never bothered.
