a lot of the people here are pretty 'high and mighty' about when they joined. making fun of 'newbs' and whatnot. Doesnt seem to matter that a lot of the older people are still pretty stupid.

Yeah, it's more a matter of social integration into the forum. Smart or experienced newbies usually earn respect quicker though.

I'm a noob here and it really doesn't matter much to me. I have been on multiple forums and I just happened on this one when looking for images for my anime webpage one day. I liked it and since my favorite forum was currently going at a slow pace due to many members gathering in England for an anime convention, I decided to join. I like it here and the people seem nice.

Now even though I am busy modding the other site, I still come here because I've come to like it.

Honestly, every member is new at one point in time and a forum cannot strive for very long without new members with new thoughts and new ideas because then everything will get boring and be the same over a period of time and die out. I have seen this happen personally.

Anyways, I just wanted to put my say in. If at all you have any problems with me, I ask that you address them with me personally so it can be settle rather quickly. I don't like negative engagements so I will do what I can to comply to your wishes if appropriate.

Really true. Thats why when I first joined I was pretty careful on what a said.

It's not the noobs I dislike, it's just the stupid people in general wether they're noobs or not. I was a noob once, and I've been here for almost a year or more. I love it here, and the reson I kept coming back was that people were accepting of noobs as long as we obeyed the rules and didn't disrespect people that had been here longer than us. I agree with Sledge, I think the noobs livin' it up around here, and it makes great oppertunities to make new friends.:happy:

I joined here last november and i finally read the rules in July or June. *Runs away*

But seriousely though even if you dont read the rules just follow the precendent of the other posters. Thats what i did, I also got into some serious anime Debates with some of the Old school members and even the Owners.

For instance the Strider Wars over Gundam Wing and all other Gundam Series.
And the Swords of Sesshomaru battle
Not to mention Kuwabara vs Krillen.

Those were the days of my n00b hood and they were fun. I won like two and the other one ended a draw. And i can't be accused of spamming or harrasing through PM.
