Doing a Kilala thread made me realize that we are forgetting Shippo too. Shippo has got to be the ladies' favorite. I like him because he provides some of the better and more various comedy in the group. Inuyasha and Kagome provide some comedy via Kagome's "sit" command. Sango and Miroku provide comedy via Miroku's womanizing and @$$-grabbing. Shippo, on the other hand, does a lot more funny stuff. Inuyasha is a little mean to him, but he fits into the group well.

I like episode 68, Shippo Receives an Angry Challenge. Shippo is all dramatic at the end until Inuyasha bops him on the head, he starts crying, Kagome threatens Inuyasha, Inuyasha whines in fear, and "SIT"! Boom! I was cracking up. :D

Haha Shippo rules !!! He's always telling Inu Yasha how immature the latter is and he's always figuring things out before Inu Yasha can/does, when it comes to Kagome and her/his fights.
In the episode where they enter Midoriko's cave, Inu Yasha gets kicked out because he says that he'll use the jewel to become a full-fledged demon. When that happended, Shippo said "That must be the ancient version of sit boy" and I gagged laughing.
Oohhhhh, the episode where he draws was too funny as well .... he rules for his antics.

Shippo is not only funny, but I think he's absolutely adorable!!

He's an orphane. Mom is dead and dad was killed by the thunder demons. Maten wears his fathers pelt (his skin if you wanna get technical) as a belt.

Imagine bein a little kid and someone killed your dad and wore him. Eww. Thats some pretty fucked up serial killer type shitz :look: Shippo went after Kagome's shards to be more powerfull so he could fight the thunder demons that killed his father. Sad, brave, and maybe a little suicidal.

Shippo's power is illusion and ability to minipulate small plants/objects (a mimi-Kurama eh? ^_^; )

Multiply: to attack or to flee, the enemy has to figure out which is the real Shippo.

he can use mushrooms to attack GO WEEPING MUSHROOMS! or he can use them to mark a trail ala his screaming warning mushrooms ^_^;

Foxfire isn't particullarly effective as an attack, but it does burn weaker enemies.

There are other ways Shippo can use foxfire, but it's a huge season 5 spoiler and it's better ya just see for yerself

Best described and summarized, I suppose you could say that Shippo is simply a demon illusionist. The mushrooms are a silly attack, even in the game. They don't really DO anything. In the PS2 game, they can confuse the enemy, but they do almost nothing in the series. Soten and Shippo pelted each other with them (Soten had acorns) until they were out of breath but no real effect took place. Shippo's most devastating attack on the game is Smashing Top, which he rarely uses anymore on the series. I think the last time I saw him use that attack was on the Thunder Brothers.

I'm with you. Foxfire is weak, but I'm curious to see what he can do with it later.

It's definately the cute factor! Look at Detective Conan! When Rachel first met Conan, she gasped at how cute he was and glomped him. I wish I could get a cute girl to do that to me! :( Although, my chat room regulars think I'm very cute. :D
