Akira13 January 30th, 2005, 02:41 PM This is a HIGHLY underrated gundam series. I, personally, think its awesome. Anyone else seen it?

BlitzZ January 30th, 2005, 03:57 PM I like the way of piloting and allenbee but thats it. Most of the gundams are crap
DeathscytheX January 30th, 2005, 05:42 PM SHINING FINGER!
Kuwabara January 31st, 2005, 10:46 AM it is cool the way the pilot and the only good gundam is burning gundam
Mike 1508 January 31st, 2005, 10:52 AM i didnt like the piloting system, just becaouse the pilot can do something dosent mean then gundam will be able to, what if the pilot pulled his arm out of its socket and poped it back in, dose that mean the gundam can to, and the idea of the horses was just stupid
sorry about that just had to get that off my mind
anyway, like like burning gundam and allenbee's gundam that about it, well the one guys wousnt bad, the rose night or something like that he had a fencing sword
Strider Hiryu January 31st, 2005, 02:14 PM As a gundam series it was complete crap. In fact it doesn't even deserve to have the title gundam on it. The plot was half assed (in my opinion) and it was just a Gundam version of DBZ (which is also a crap anime).
About the only good thing to come of G Gundam was the pilot system (which with a little work would actually be very plausible as a combat system for regular warfare) and God Gundam. Other then that the rest could have just been thrown out and save us the time of watching a very bad gundam series.
Kuwabara February 1st, 2005, 09:00 AM DBZ is crap and the piloting system is o.k. but shows a lack of real piloting skills just think about a street punk could become a great pilot in G gundam cause all he has to do is fight regularly
i actually agree with Stryder WOW
DeathscytheX February 1st, 2005, 01:23 PM DBZ would have been a great anime if they ended it at the Freiza saga, or even cell saga, it got a bit ridiculous how many times the earth blew up, how kids could go SSJ, and how many times goku could die and come back.
Nattizo February 1st, 2005, 07:21 PM i think g gundam was one of the best gundam show out ther
i think the best gundam was shadow gundam
Sledgstone February 1st, 2005, 09:56 PM DBZ would have been a great anime if they ended it at the Freiza saga, or even cell saga, it got a bit ridiculous how many times the earth blew up, how kids could go SSJ, and how many times goku could die and come back.
the humans were so outclassed. i liked how krillian made a difference occasionally.. but then everything became focused on the saiyans. and the result was that my favorite character grew a bad moustache.. ;_;
DeathscytheX February 1st, 2005, 10:05 PM I know, one of the best parts of the series was when Krillian and Gohan were on namek trying to get teh dragon balls. And as powerful as vegeta was he just got kicked around until goku showed up. eventually it was all about Goku, none of the other sayians mattered.
what was with the hair X'D
Kuwabara February 2nd, 2005, 10:53 AM the humans were great and they banished them for the saiyins Tien Yancha Krillen Chelsu they were all great like in the movie tree of might they made yamcha soft and tien went into isolation to train and never returned even when earth was in peril
Crimson King April 3rd, 2005, 02:06 PM This is the BEST Gundam series ever! I've tried watching the others, but I've never really been able to get into them. I'd just watch a few episodes and get bored. I thought everything about G Gundam was pretty cool... I liked the Ninja with the dull blade... the characters, the plot, the fights... everything about it ruled.
Seems like there's only a few people that actually remember this one... or at least like it. Man, I haven't seen it in a while. I remember I used to stay up at night and watch the show on Cartoon Network (and even record the episodes X'D).
EVA-01 April 3rd, 2005, 04:36 PM I liked the show to a point. I liked the Burning Gundam and the attack, BURNING FINGER!!! Alenbee was hot on the last episode. I forgot the name of the huge evil gundam but that one was cool too, and the ones that could change into animal thing and back into Gundams were also cool. The piloting system was the coolest part.
DBZ, that show got so annoying with the Ginyu Force. The battles seemed like they took place in one day because it never turned dark. Brolly was the coolest saijin ever.
Kuwabara April 4th, 2005, 10:14 AM Crimson Kin youre one of the many people i know that likes it. And your right some of the other series are boring. But G-gundam was to flashy bashy for my taste with no real ties to other series only Mobile suits tie them. And the whole concepr of the Shuffle aliance and the characters were ride off of Wing.
But the piloting System RULES!!!! So i watched it and liked Watching it.
outlaw_tsunami April 5th, 2005, 01:11 AM The battles seemed like they took place in one day because it never turned dark.
didnt namek have 2 suns?
and just to agree with just about everyone else, yes the piloting system was cool, and personaly i liked it more than the cockpit stuff because it meant you actualy had to know physicaly what you were doing
BlitzZ April 5th, 2005, 07:45 AM and just to agree with just about everyone else, yes the piloting system was cool, and personaly i liked it more than the cockpit stuff because it meant you actualy had to know physicaly what you were doing
Yes, i agree. Couldn't only certain people pilot gundams in G Gundam or am I imagining something?^_^;
Kuwabara April 5th, 2005, 10:13 AM I don't know it looked fairly easy. Steel the gundam and use it.
EVA-01 April 5th, 2005, 10:51 AM That little kid that stole the Burning Gundam couldn't pilot the Burning Gundam beacause he was too weak and their was to much pressure in the costume, so it could have crushed his tiny body.
outlaw_tsunami April 6th, 2005, 12:37 AM you dont merely put on a suit and you do whatever, the suit also puts stress on your body proportional to whats being done to the suit...
also you couldnt just hop in and do it, youd need some form of combat training to be efficient
Kuwabara April 6th, 2005, 10:12 AM I know i'm saying like a tough street punk.
and what was it with the pressure?
outlaw_tsunami April 6th, 2005, 10:56 PM and what was it with the pressure?
what do you mean? the suits they put on, with the funky eletric stuff moving from there joints was put a proportionate amount of pressure on the persons body as pressure was being applied on the gundam
Kuwabara April 7th, 2005, 10:04 AM I never really understod it. So how to your surpass the pressure? Rain did it so it should not be all that difficult.
outlaw_tsunami April 7th, 2005, 10:53 PM i believe rain also trained as a pilot though..
overcoming it is like overcoming gravity...just more extreme, you use your muscles - its why almost all the pilots were skinny muscular guys that were very agile in real life
Sabe April 7th, 2005, 11:20 PM i believe rain also trained as a pilot though..

Actually, the muscularity was from the physical training the people went through so they could be better fighters. To overcome the gravity increase due to the suit, you'd actually want to be relitively relaxed, that is how they train the astronauts; don't tense up, or you'll have broken bones. Why do you think that people that get tense in a wreck get more messed up, than a drunk? It's because the drunk is so relaxed.
This leads me to believe that the training creates the muscularity, and the suit is applyed while they are relaxed, simply because if they were tense, the suits would mold to the extended muscles, and would be too loose when they relaxed.
And, yes, Raine did have pilot traning.
Kuwabara April 8th, 2005, 10:37 AM Oh well i retract my statement.
