Graphics look excellent, depth looks promising, Huge character selection and customization.

Many classes to choose from.
4 Archetypes > 3 Classed to choose from each archetype > then 2 subjobs are available for each class.

My main is going to be a halfling priest ^_^ I don't know which priest class I want to be though. They all sound so cool.
Cleric = Best Healing and decent buffs
Druid = Good buffs and some decent attack spells
Shaman = Good Buffs and some summoning

You gain a new spell or skill every level, and sometimes even half-way through a level. :3 And almost every skill I'v gotten so far has been useful. Infact, I don't have a skill that I don't use. lol.


And the tradeskills are complicated ^^ .. in a good way. It's not just "*make item**make item**make item*".. you actually have to interact while making the items.

For instance; when cooking you have to deal with puffs of steam, temp. changes and flavor loss.

It has all of good parts of the games I'v played and very few weaknesses, I can't even think of anything bad to say about it. ^^ humm, but If i must say something, sometimes the loadtimes for entering towns is a tad long, and towns are a little laggy even on the best computer systems, but usually only when theres a lot of people online. The towns are huge and the NPC to players is almost 1:1 lol..

Not in any particular order. There will always be a special little spot in my heart for RO, since I love it so. But it lacks a lot that Everquest offers.

Runescape is a good game, simply because it offers more to do than fight. That's something a lot of newer MMORPGs seem to forget about. But not Everquest 2. Imagine Runescape with excellent graphics, a huge class and race selection. And the most complex character customization you can imagine.

Most characters can customize;
Eyes; Color, Slant, eyebrows
Hair: style, color, highlight color
Head: Cheeks' fullness and height, Chin length and width, ears size and height, nose upturn, length and width.
Body: size, age, skin tone

etc etc.. o.o

So many of the NPCs have voice acting, and will call out to you ^^ .. and a good majority of them have quests for you to do. My main character has done over 100 quests now [and is signed up for about 30 or so more atm]. The rewards can range from a few pieces of copper to excellent pieces of new equipment. Or furniture for your home.

Yes, every character gets their own home.

i got a couple questions tho.. so you got the game on the 11th and you hit lvl 20 on the 21st. so, in ten days you got 19 level ups.. so, are you playing like a fiend? 15 hours a day? :p and how is the level up system? do they start altering the amount of experience points you get per enemy (ie. you kill 20 bears, everytime you kill another bear the experience is less than the previous?) and do you have to do alot of teamwork to expand your character's skills and level ups?

I got the game on the 9th and I hit 20 on monday (22nd) at 3:30ish am ^^'' .. officially, but it it was more like late sunday night.

I just typed /play, which tells your total play time for the character.

6d, 1h = 145 hours

In 18 days. thats comes out to about 8 hours a day. LOL

Last few days I'v been playing other characters and working on tradeskills cause I dont want to pass one of my friend too much (hes at 17).. ^^;; *goes to check alternate playtimes*

normac (level 10 and a half): 21h
shleck (level 6): 3h (lol)
gremmy (level 6): 2h

All together I'm averaging about 9h 30mins ^_x'' .. the leveling isn't very hard but higher up it takes a decent while. not too fast or too slow (unless you're really unpatient I guess..) the game keeps you interested through the longer levels by giving you new spells/skills every levelup and sometimes in the middle of a level.

If you know someone with the game you should borrow their install disks. ^^ I can give you a 'buddy key' .. basically a 7-day trail. No credit card needed or anything.. you just need to install the game.
