Ancient Clan now has a login feature for the site itself. This will allow easy news and review submissions. As well as possible member only content. Registration is simple and only takes a few seconds.

To control spam and pointless floods of useless articles; news and review submission abilities must be enabled on a per username basis. This is not difficult for us and is simplified thanks to a new forum usergroup.

The new forum usergroup is called: Site Contributor.

The purpose of this usergroup is for us to easily manage what members have news and review submission abilities.

Please feel free to register on the site, join the usergroup (wait for approval) and then start submitting your news and reviews.

News submissions:

All news submissions must contain a source link where the news was obtained from.

Example: Cartoon Network Press Release (http://www.ancientclan.com/content/view/83/85/)

Review submissions:

Article Format

- Paragraph form with line breaks in between paragraphs.
- Article must be a minimum of three paragraphs in length.
- Ratings must be at bottom of submission, not tied in as part of the review.
- No major profanity (PG-13)
- Grammar & spell checked
- Sources / links where info for review was obtained, as always we should give credits to our source of information whether it be a direct quote or your original type up. Copy and paste is a big no no.

I made this announcement and felt I should make a topic for discussion to go along with it. ^_^

We'll be putting together more detailed info about review submissions, such as rating categories, what to include with the reviews (publisher/developer names for games, publisher/number episodes for anime), released dates, etc. hopefully by this weekend.

for anime, we'll accept season or series reviews. not individual episodes (individual ep summaries should be for detailed series specific sites like windscar.com for inuyasha).

i'll be adding more info about the submissions this weekend including a new list of rewards/bonuses for total reviews submitted. rewards: custom rank via user cp, forums attachments, reputation bonus, email account, sigs/ava account, etc, etc. ^_^

a hellsing review has already been done, but don't worry about it. we'll accept every review even if its been reviewed before. everyone has their own opinions of an anime, game, movie etc. no two reviews are ever the same. for example, two reviews for dbz movie 8: http://www.ancientclan.com/anime/
