its water. lady is all-knowledgable about this. btw, don't think they live on earth and have our limitations, blitz players can hold their breath for days. :p

The best blitz players can hold their breath for up to 2 days. Notice how Tidus wakes up in the water outside of Bajj Temple and then again off the shores of Besaid.
The blitz sphere is the crowning glory of Spira's lost technology. The only one left is the one in Luca; Zanarkand was destroyed completely and I doubt Bevelle got through the war without taking significant damage.

The only FF game that I really know pretty much everything for is FFX, the US release/version.
That game is my crack. I'm currently playing it for the 15th time and in 10 more minutes of game play, I will have 200 hours into this particular game. ^_^; The only thing that will keep it from being the "perfect game" is I forgot to Lancet Omega and missed out on Nova -_-; , but screw it anyway. My dudes are already on their 2nd trip around the sphere grid, some of em got stats maxed out. 255 is a majic number. The only one I bothered Break HiP Limit on is Wakka. His regular attack does as much damage as an Aeon's Overdrive, so he gets counter attacked a lot. that 20000 and still counting HP helps a lot :p
It's a game that can keep going and going. I get lost for hours/days from March to May - thats "official Lady's blitz season" . I blitz waiting for spring to break so I can go work in the garden. Right now I'm fighting in the Monster arena for spheres. I spent part of the day yesterday in the area where you cleared the sandstorm muggin cactars for chocobo wings (Tidus and Wakka are already in Auto-Haste, I want it for some of my other guys too; Rikku first.)

.. Pretty much the way to win is to have everyone with auto-life whitemagic.. and make sure everyone has it cast on them before you start attacking.

It's a longass fight, but the rewards are most excellent.. Seriously.. I couldn't beat the chocobo race.. so I actually went and captured 10 of every capturable fiend in the game, and beat all of the species and area creations just to fight nemesis.. just so I could get a weapon for tidus with break damage limit.

lol, it took a few tries but he drops break dmg weapons and break hp armors.. and its a good thing to have tidus with 20,000+ life, and auron too o_o

My main party was always Tidus, Yuna and Auron. Not the best selection overdrive wise, but whatever. Those are the characters I used the most often. -- those 3 have all of the skills and magic on the sphere grid and yuna has been around the whole thing.. Tidus and Auron are almost around, but they have sufficient stats, pretty much all stats at 255 cept luck and magic.. defence? i dotn remember which the other was.. but something with magic I think.


I've never really been particularly good at blitzball but it was fairly entertaining.. I didn't take the time to level my team up to the point of ultimate winning.

I just got Rikku maxed out on everything but luck, I'm still working on that. Blitz Ball has pretty much taken up my free time. I'm trying to practice as much as possible for the tournament the local Anime shop is holding. The winner get a model, and a dvd of their choice. :happy:

Omg...I listened to the explanation of the Sphere Grid like 20 times and I still don't get it. My friend said it's based off of some D&D stuff, but I'm not really one to play D&D...anyway, it took me forever to get good at Blitz Ball, it's really complicated at times, but once you get the hang of it, it's a total blast. :happy:

I've played Blitzball for like almost two years and I still suck at it. I'm pretty good at all the Final Fantasy's except for X, and X-2. I'm Hopeless...*sniff*

I couldn't play X-2 for anything...it just...yeah, it shouln't have been included in the FF series, sure it had a great story and characters, but the game was just...kinda had the look of being thrown together.

I sort of noticed that to when I was playing it as well. I never finished, it got too boring for me.

I assume you have the Celestial Mirror; the Caladbolg is in the Calm Lands, in the place where the person will not let you go down the trail (NE corner)
To power it up you need the Sun Crest. Go back to Zanarkand where you fought Yunalesca. It's in that room but you may have to run up and down the stairs a few times to get the chest to appear.
You also need the Sun Sigil. It's a prize for winning the last chocobo race against the trainer with a time of better than 0:0:0. -_-;

It's a good weapon, but you can make better.

lol i usualy have tidus rikku, and whomever - rikku pretty much one hit kills everything anyway, i was hitting for 99,999 on the final boss with her, shes literaly 100% maxed on all stats and abilities skills so on and so forth, but yah, just fight master coerls or sommit for the master spheres (they allow you to learn anything anywhere from any position on the sphere grid)

but yah blitzball was pretty funness, i never played ffx-2, but graphicaly it looks nice

and what plot developement? its pretty straight forward...your looking for tidus...

least i always thought so anyway

X2 had some nice cg and they even went through and cleaned up/sharpened all all of the in game grapix (the sky, Luca, atc)
2 years after they defeted Sin, Yuna and Riku have become 'sphere hunters'. They find a sphere of someone who looks like Tidus which prompts Yuna to keep going after spheres for more clues.
The spheres really have nothing to do with Tidus, but they tell the story of what happened to the Crimson Squad; its more of a CS story then the original FFX characters.

Rikku is my main character, she's maxed out in just about everything except her magic lol. Anyway, yeah, the cinima'z where great, and the story could have been something great as well, but sadly, I think it wound up being another thrown together sequel.

Oh yes, ohhh yes. I'd start off with hastaga first step just to try and make sure everyone had auto-life before teh a-hole started systematically raping my characters one-by-one. Then after someone died, they'd come back and i'd have auto-life cast on em, then the other person would quick attack like .. 2 or 4 times or whatever (my characters at -least- have 255 str and hit) so thats a easy atleast 50,000 per hit, .. yada yada the huge bastard would eventually do his doom attack that kills everyone, and basically that whole round would be wasted on recasting auto-life.. but atleast when he does that the overdrive bars fill like crazy.

All entrust to tidus :D .. since yuna's and auron's arnt particularly great. -- thats.. however many attacks x(50,000-99,999)

.. It'd be great if nemesis didn't counter overdrives with freaking ultima though.. hahaha.. but ohwell. If my chars have a good ammount of life sometimes they can live through it ^^

.. I summon sometimes in extreme situations.. mostly to take hits. but seriously the little magus sister is crazy powerful if you can get her to do passado (sp?), and then to do it again for a couple rounds.

He was hard, but like you said, quick attack like hell, and let your Aeons get the brunt of the damage and use as many complete Aeon attacks you can.

.. blah, aeons were pretty pointless against that biotch unless they had multi-hit skills like passado.. and that was actually the only one out of all of the aeons.. :/ summoning a aeon for a single 99,999 is a waste of a turn .. cause they die in pretty much a single attaack. :/

my chars can deal out 99999 with a normal attack, so.. lol. aeons = meatshields in extreme situations

.. lol otherwise dont try to -not- die, it takes too much effort, and its futile because that bastard is going to kill you one way or another... just use auto-life and all is good.

well.. a few ways, first off

I'll start by explaining the hard way.
If you have lots of gil, you can do this.. or have a way to get lots of gil.
-First off find a weapon with a really good ability that you want on it- like evade and counter, or triple overdrive, the hard part will be finding one of these weapons with 3 more slots.

anyways, yeah, then from there, you take your gazillions of gil to numerous different monsters and bribe all the items you need to add the other skills you want for your weapon... dark matter is going to cost you more than anything. but you need gobs of them to add break damage limit.


--Way two is that you find a weapon with break damage limit already on it and work from that. -- and guess what! the only monster that drops something like that is nemesis.. so you're gonna have to actually go and capture 10 of every capturable fiend in the game, which actually takes a very long time. and then you have to beat all of the monster creations... oh dear lord. those bastards are hard when you get to them.. but as you start fighting through them thats when your characters get really really good.. cause those suckers drop the super nice spheres.. like the ones that add +4 stat nodes ^^ you pretty much are stuck fighting them for a while..

anyways, once all the monster creations and area conquest monsters and whatnot, then you get to fight the unholy nemesis :D .. even with my stats and abililities it can still take me about half an hour per fight with that bastard... sometimes more, sometimes less. It all depends how many times he uses his massive distruction skills.

anyways.. once the fight's over you have a random chance of getting a piece of equipment with break HP, or break damage limit. .. pretty much keep fighting until you get a sword for tidus XD .. thats what I did.

I should try to do a stat maxing game.. lmao.. clear all of the nodes with the exception of skills and just make big masses of certain types of nodes.. make all of aurons path def nodes, all of tidus's area str, rikku's agi.. etc etc .. have exactly 64 nodes of each stat (256, even though it caps out at 255) ^_^

and have any leftover nodes be for HP upgrades

for the moment Wakka,Yuna,Auron and Rikku are useing their celestial weapons. Tidus,Lulu and Kimari have Break Damage Limit, Trip Overdrive...blah blah blah
Say what you will about breaking the HP limit, but it works for me. Tidus Wakka and Riku all have break hp limit, auto-phoenix, and Auto Haste. They can really take a beating and quick hit until 2 or more of them are almost dead then I use a healing water. The over 20000 hp they got keeps me from having to waste a move healing and if someone gets thumped their buddy is right there with a phoenix down. (the constant Flare and Ultima counterattacks are a pain with just 9999 hp, with or without shell)

Getting enough Chocobo Wings for Auto Haste is a pain, but you can kill 3 birds with one stone.

Put Riku and 2 ppl you need to get ap in the ring with the Cactar King. Set their overdrives to stoic. Put weapons that will double or triple your other dudes ap, leave Godhand on Riku unless you have a break damage limit/master thief weapon for her. Luck, mug, and steal. You can get 4 Wings in one fight if your lucky enough and you also snag designer wallets for gillionare. He counters everything w/ 10000 Needles and occasionally nails someone for 99,999 Needles. Sends the overdrive thru the roof X'D

i watched lady kill nemisis in under 8 minutes. X'D she quicked hitted 10 times right at the beginning at 99,999 damage a piece. then nemisis hit once, then another 10 hits, repeat process. oh man, she was vicious. she also got nova for Kimari by lanceting nemisis.

Lucky you. I had to learn the hard way. Find all the primers and slowly leanr what I needed to say. At least the amount of letters in the word does't change. That would be way hard for me to learn then. Good luck learning it all Hell Cat.
