Vash is a plant...like the ones in the light bulbs only he's outside of one. He's 130 some odd years old and doesn't age a bit. Knives is Vash's twin brother...they're both plants.

Plant is what humans call Vash and Knives due to the fact that their kind is used as a power sorce. The brothers are 'Those who live outside of time', a higher life form then humans. They're more like angels that can die then trees.

The final battle was bad ass. I heard they were supposed to make a game called something like 'Planet Gunsmoke.' But I don't think it's true. It also seems like there would be a sequal too.

I don't think there's going to be a sequel...that rumor's been flying around since the last episode was made. The anime came out in like 1990-something...so I really can't see a sequel coming up.

But it would be sort of cool to see one though.

Check out the manga Trigun: Maximum...it went on farther than the anime and it's a lot better.;)

Any book store that carries manga...only they classify it under "Graphic Novels" I think Books A Million has the best selection...around here anyway. B. Dalton...Hastings...and Borders are a few others you should try too.

I agree. It's like the difference between reading a book and watching a movie based on the book. 9 times out of 10, the book is going to be better. Thats how it works with manga as well.

I love the Trigun mangas...I wish they would have made the anime exactly like it. :(

Currently I buy: Chrono Crusade, Trigun: Maximum, Hellsing, Wolf's Rain, Deserts, Galaxy Angel, Chobits, Clover, and some Inuyasha.

I also pick up comics like crazy right now I'm pretty stuck on the Gamebit comics.

What about the Gung-Ho Guns? I think the best one out of them would have to be Domonique the Cyclops...or...I don't know I liked Cain the Longshot a lot...he didn't really have a big part, but I thought his gun was uber sweet!

Favorite Gung-Ho Gun? I'll say Hopperd the Gauntlet. I picked him just because I like his mask.

My favorite would have to be Vash or Woflwood. Than there's Money the Gale. He didn't last long, but he looked total badass in the Trigun series (Not Maximum)

BTW, youcan find manga in practically any bookstore. My Barnes and Noble bookstore doesn't but my Books-a-Million does.

Wolfwood didn't really betray Vash....he betrayed Knives.....and Legato is Knives' bitch...seriously......plus, he is the Second Most Evil Sexy Bitch i've yet to see in anime...*L*....

Legato was cooler in the manga....but yeah, Wolfwood didn't betray Vash, he was supposed to, but in the end he went with Vash against Knives and Chapel...

In the manga, when Knives is reborn he literally tears Legato apart. For the rest of the manga until he is killed by Vash...Legato is trasported around inside a floating coffin.

She protected them when the rest of the crew wanted to kill them, and she raised them as her own children...but she made the mistake of teaching them especially Vash, her niaeve beliefs that everything is good, and that you never have to kill and the world can exsist in perfect peace and love. I know it's nice to hope for...but it's a fools hope. Knives I think knew that, but Vash was so clingy and believed so much in Rem, he never, or refused to see the truth.

Yo fool! It wasn't couse of Rem. It was because of that one guy who always got drunk. Yta know, he would always beat them and call them monsters. Knives wanted revenge on him and the others because they were imperfect and he thought the others didn't accept him wither because of what they are.

True...Steve had a big part in what happened to Knives...but also Knives viewed that humans were horrible destroyers of everything they touched. They destroyed the earth and Knives thought that they would continue to destroy until nothing was left. That I think is why he did what he did.

Legato is the one that has Vash's arm, but that's only explained in the manga. Legato is just plain psycho, in my personal opinion. He does have reason for what he does, but they don't make much sense to a normal person.

I always seem to like the charecters that dont know if they want to be good or bad so they choose a middle ground. A balance between good and evil in a char was always the way I went. Well most of the time.
